ADAGIO G-MOLL ist das erste Stück des großen Zyklus‘ der Sonaten und Partiten für Violine solo von J. S. BACH. Ich spiele diese Komposition immer wieder seit ich sie im Alter von etwa 13 Jahren gelernt habe. Für mich ist sie wie ein Fluss, wie eine Improvisation... nicht wissend, was hinter der nächsten Ecke auftaucht, doch immer eingebettet in eine Intuition... in eine größere Intelligenz und Logik... Schmerz und Erinnerungen des Verlustes mit sich tragend... sich wandelnd in Hoffnung und Liebe... still werdend und Demut fürs Leben spürend...

To me it is like a river, an improvisation… not knowing what comes around the next corner but always flowing in the river of intuition... being part of a wider intelligence, a knowing… carrying lots of pain, remembering loss and harm… also hope and love… becoming silent and feeling deep humbleness for life…
